Launch of the 15th Edition of the Riyada Initiative under the Patronage of Al-Rafidain University College
On October 15, 2024, the 15th edition of the “Riyada” initiative, launched by Iraqi Prime Minister Engineer Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, commenced under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shair, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College. The opening ceremony took place in Riyada Hall, attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Saeed Issa, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department and the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit. The event was supervised by consultant trainer and Head of the Student Activities Department, Ms. Maha Kazem Abdul.
Spanning five days, from October 13 to 17, 2024, the initiative aims to empower youth by enhancing their skills, fostering innovation, and supporting creative ideas. It provides participants with the expertise to develop business plans and conduct feasibility studies, equipping them to navigate the job market and transform their economic visions into reality amidst growing employment challenges.
