Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Sha’ir, the respected Dean of Rafidain University College, the Health and Occupational Safety Unit, in coordination with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, organized a seminar titled “Safety Procedures for Biological Risks Surrounding Healthcare Workers.”
The seminar took place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, in the Conference Hall, Annex Building (1) – Banks. It was delivered by Assistant Lecturer (Sari Alaa Hussein).
During the seminar, the assessment of biological risks in the workplace for healthcare workers and laboratory personnel was elaborated upon. These individuals are exposed to significant health hazards resulting from biological influences.
The seminar was attended by several department heads, professors, and students.
