Seminar on Social Bullying: Causes, Types, and Solutions
Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, an educational seminar titled “Social Bullying: Causes, Types, and Solutions” was conducted on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Hall 1, Annex Building No. 2 within the Department of Dentistry.
Organized for dentistry students, the event was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Raad Saleh, Head of the Department, and Dr. Maitha Samir, Department Rapporteur. The session was presented by Lecturer Dr. Sahar Munfi Ahmed, a faculty member and Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit.
The seminar provided an in-depth exploration of social bullying, highlighting its different forms and underlying causes within university settings. It also introduced preventive measures and strategies to address bullying on campus, stressing the importance of collaboration between students and faculty in cultivating a safe and inclusive academic environment.
The event witnessed active participation from dentistry students and esteemed faculty members, fostering meaningful discussions on promoting a respectful and supportive educational atmosphere.
