Al-Rafidain College Participates in the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, the esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, the college actively participated in the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship, held at the University of Technology in collaboration with the Iraqi University Sports Federation from October 20 to October 24, 2024.
The participation was supervised by Mr. Salam Abdulhameed Abdulrahman, Head of the Sports Activities Department, and witnessed a strong performance from Al-Rafidain College’s team, securing third place among the competing universities.
Strong Competition and Outstanding Performance
• Several students from Al-Rafidain College took part in the competition, showcasing their advanced skills in chess.
• The competition was marked by high-level gameplay and intense rivalries among university students.
• Participating students received commemorative shields in recognition of their efforts and outstanding performance.
