Al-Rafidain University College organized a celebration on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The celebration included a theatrical performance titled “Who Bears the Cost,” organized by a group of third-year students from the Law Department under the supervision of Ms. Bushra Abdul Latif, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the department. The play addressed an important social issue, namely the increasing divorce rates, which can hinder women from fulfilling their role in building and elevating society, in addition to highlighting some cases of injustice against women.
The celebration was attended by a number of faculty members and students of the college.
