Times ranking

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 has released its results, which include over 2,000 institutions from 115 countries worldwide Twenty-two Iraqi universities have secured their positions in the rankings, marking an increase from the 2024 edition which featured thirteen universities This places Iraq in 29th place globally in terms of the number of ranked universities The universities competed in the Times rankings based on key criteria, evaluated across eighteen indicators in five main areas Teaching (learning environment) 29.5% Research environment 29% Research quality 30% International outlook 7.5% Industry income 4% The Times Higher Education World Rankings also highlighted the “Study in Iraq” program (https://www.timeshighereducation.com/student/where-to-study/study-in-iraq) cognizedand compete with global educational institutions in areas like teaching research knowledge transfer and international outlook.
