Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, an awareness and educational seminar titled “Post-Daesh Iraqi Society: Peaceful Coexistence and Preserving Iraqi Identity” was held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, as part of the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division for the academic year 2024-2025.
The seminar was organized under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Neda Adnan Taher, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, and Assistant Lecturer Basma Mohammed Khalil, Head of the Activities Unit in the Scientific Departments of the Division.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Farah Abdul Jabbar Mahdi from the University of Mustansiriyah, College of Arts. It focused on ways to promote peaceful coexistence in Iraqi society post-Daesh and emphasized the importance of preserving the Iraqi identity that unites the diverse components of the Iraqi people.
This seminar served as a vital platform for discussing strategies to strengthen societal harmony and protect Iraq’s cultural and social heritage in the post-conflict era.
