QS Sustainability Rankings 2025: Iraqi Universities Achieve Competitive Results
QS Sustainability Rankings 2025 – December 11, 2024
The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 has released its latest results, evaluating nearly 1,800 universities worldwide based on a methodology that assesses environmental impact (45%), social influence (44%), and governance (10%).
Eight Iraqi universities achieved competitive standings, led by the University of Baghdad, followed by the Universities of Anbar, Al-Nahrain, Babylon, Al-Mustansiriyah, Northern Technical, Tikrit, and Mosul.
Notably, over 100 Iraqi universities and colleges participate in eight global rankings, positioning Iraq 29th worldwidein terms of the number of universities ranked in the Times Higher Education World Rankings and 7th globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for Sustainability.
