The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the second edition of the Study in Iraq program to attract international students to Iraqi universities for the academic year 2024/2025.
The Study in Iraq program includes 14,322 study seats provided by 59 Iraqi government and private universities, distributed as 57% for full scholarships and 43% for partial scholarships in medical, health, engineering, sciences, agricultural, veterinary, administrative, legal, political, educational, and humanitarian fields for bachelor’s, higher diploma, master’s, and doctoral levels for the academic year 2024/2025.
Applications for scholarships begin today, Monday, April 1, 2024, through the dedicated electronic platform of the Study in Iraq program (https://studyiniraq.scrd-gate.gov.iq/home).
The launch of the new edition of the Study in Iraq program witnessed official speeches and detailed presentations in the presence of representatives of diplomatic missions in Baghdad, prospective students, university presidents, deans of faculties, and a group of international students studying at Iraqi universities.
