The Impact of Fast Food on Mental Health Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, the esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, a seminar titled “The Impact of Fast Food on General and Mental Health” was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 The event was organized and supervised by Ms. Zahraa Laith a member of the Psychological Counseling Unit. Dr. Muzaffar Abdullah Shafiq from the Anesthesia Department delivered the lecture as part of the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the Department of Radiology and Sonography Techniques for the academic year 2024-2025 The seminar was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Sinan Sobhi Farhan (Scientific Supervisor) Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah (Administrative Supervisor) and Dr. Riyadh Hassan Mohammed Ali Head of the Radiology Department
During the seminar Dr. Shafiq discussed the risks associated with consuming fast food and its negative effects on both mental and physical health A large number of students attended to gain insights and apply the guidance provided.
