Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, the esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, a seminar titled “Preserving Core Values Amid Digital Openness” was held on Sunday October 27, 2024, in the main building This seminar was organized in collaboration with the College’s Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit for the academic year 2024-2025 It was supervised by Ms. Nada Adnan Tahir Head of the Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Ms. Basma Mohammed Khalil Head of the Scientific Departments Activities Unit and coordinated by Ms. Bushra Abdul Latif Jassim
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jasim Kazem Kabashi, Head of the Law Department and focused on the challenge of preserving original values in the digital age It emphasized the need for integrated efforts from individuals and communities outlining the importance of education awareness monitoring regulation and fostering intercultural dialogue The role of families in instilling fundamental values and principles in younger generations as well as encouraging discussion about the impact of technology was also highlighted.
