Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaerthe esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University Collegea seminar titled “Our Mission as Medical Staff Regarding Drug Misuse” was held on Sunday October 27, 2024, in the main buildingThis seminar was part of the activities of the Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the College of Pharmacy for the academic year 2024-2025 It was supervised by Ms. Nada Adnan Tahir Head of the Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit Ms. Basma Mohammed Khalil Head of the Scientific Departments Activities Unit and coordinated by Dr. Ishraq Kazem Abbas
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Omar Abdel Wahid Saleh and covered several important aspects including educating and raising awareness among patients about the risks of improper drug use and how to use medications safely It also encouraged patients to report any issues related to medications or their side effects These combined efforts aim to reduce cases of misuse and ensure the health and safety of patients
