In support of maintaining a clean environment and in an effort to address climate change and increase green spaces, Al-Rafidain University College, in collaboration with the Al-A’zamiyah Municipality, has initiated a new afforestation campaign. Under the field supervision of Mr. Faisal Nafe’ Ka’eed, a lecturer in the Accounting Department, students and faculty members from the Accounting Department organized a volunteer afforestation campaign in the Cairo neighborhood. The campaign involved planting various types of trees and plants. This campaign is part of Al-Rafidain’s field initiatives in the community to increase green spaces and promote volunteer work to preserve the environment, recognizing its impact on physical and mental health.
