Personal Hygiene and Elegant Appearance Seminar
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, the esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, an awareness seminar titled “Personal Hygiene and Elegant Appearance” was held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Conference Hall in Annex Building No. 1 – Al-Bunouk, specifically for students of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department.
The seminar was supervised by Dr. Hussein Al-Jashami, the Administrative Officer of the Building, and was delivered by Ms. Nada Adnan Taher, a faculty member at the college and Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit.
Raising Awareness on Hygiene and Professional Appearance
During the seminar, Ms. Nada explained the importance of hygiene, highlighting that maintaining personal cleanliness is possible under all circumstances. She also emphasized that elegant appearance is not necessarily linked to the price of clothing and accessories, but rather to good grooming and appropriate presentation.
Additionally, students were encouraged to adhere to laboratory dress codes, maintain personal hygiene, and keep their surroundings clean within the university campus.
The seminar was attended by a large number of students from the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department, along with several faculty members, fostering an engaging discussion on the significance of cleanliness and professional appearance in both academic and professional settings.
