Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaeer, the esteemed Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, the Department of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit and the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Unit, successfully organized a scientific awareness course titled:
“Mastering Cancer Care: Navigating Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy Resistance.”
The course was held from January 7 to January 9, 2025, at the main building of Al-Rafidain University College – Palestine Street. It was meticulously prepared and delivered by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Bassam Abdulrasoul Hassan, the Scientific Coordinator of the Pharmacy Department.
The course addressed critical strategies for overcoming chemotherapy and radiotherapy resistance in cancer patient care. It attracted distinguished participation from employees of the Ministry of Health and fifth-year Pharmacy students, significantly contributing to advancing scientific knowledge in cancer care and management.
