University Rover Camp for Environmental Sustainability
nder the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, and with the support of the college alongside several hosting universities and colleges, Al-Rafidain University College participated in the University Rover Camp for Environmental Sustainability – Al-Hadbaa Scout Camp at the University of Mosulfrom October 9 to October 13, 2024, as part of ministerial student activities.
The college’s team, led by Mr. Ivan Ramzi Hossam, Director of the Scouting Activities Division, secured second placeamong the participating institutions, demonstrating outstanding performance in the event.

3. Gaith Ahmed Hassan – Digital Media
4. Musa Mohammed Tala’a – Computer Engineering Technologies
The camp featured a variety of activities, beginning with the national anthem and the Iraqi flag-raising ceremony. Such camps play a vital role in developing students’ professional character, fostering self-reliance in overcoming challenges, and instilling patience, discipline, and independence.
The camp activities included:
• Welcoming guests with scout salutes
• Engaging in scouting and sports activities
• Showcasing various student hobbies
The event concluded with the recognition of top-ranking participants and the distribution of participation certificates to all attendees.
