Expert Symposium on Occupational Safety and Fire Control
Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, a scientific symposium titled “Occupational Safety and Fire Control” was held on Monday, November 18, 2024.
The event was organized in coordination with the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Safety and Security Unit, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit of the Dentistry Department.
The symposium was presented by Engineer Samar Tawfiq Hamid, who highlighted the importance of occupational safety across various industries and discussed effective methods and strategies for fire prevention and control in different workplace environments.
This initiative reflects Al-Rafidain University College’s commitment to enhancing workplace safety awareness and equipping students and professionals with essential knowledge on fire safety measures, risk mitigation, and emergency response strategies.
