The Medical Devices Engineering Department at Al-Rafidain University College, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, held a seminar titled ‘Using Defibrillators for Cardiac Resuscitation’ on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Annex Building No. 1, Al-Bunouk.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Firas Abdul-Wadud Abdul-Aziz, who explained how to use electrical shock in the case of sudden cardiac arrest by directing a short, high-intensity electrical current through the heart to restore its natural rhythm.
The seminar was attended by several college students.”
