Under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, and in accordance with the directive from the Ministry of Higher Education / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority / University Supervision Department, Al-Rafidain University College successfully organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) Course. This initiative was led by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division to implement the latest educational and psychological counseling strategies.
TOT Course Details and Key Participants
The TOT training course commenced on Sunday, January 19, 2025, and continued for five days at the conference hall of the university’s main building. Representing the esteemed Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Saeed Issa, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, attended the opening session. The course was supervised by:
- Ms. Nada Adnan Taher – Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division.
- Ms. Basma Mohammed Khalil – Head of the Activities Unit, Academic Departments.
Expert Lecturers and Training Sessions
The course featured renowned professors and specialists in psychological counseling and educational guidance, providing intensive training sessions to enhance participants’ skills. The schedule included:
- Day 1: Keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. Haider Jalil Abbas, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at Al-Mustansiriyah University.
- Day 2: Lecture by Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasmin Taha Ibrahim.
- Day 3: Lecture by Prof. Dr. Nibras Taha Khamees.
- Day 4: Lecture by Dr. Suhair Shaker Sadiq.
- Day 5: Final session by Ms. Nada Adnan Taher.
Objectives and Outcomes of the TOT Course
This TOT training program aimed to:

✅ Implement modern training methodologies to improve the efficiency of educators.
✅ Foster a professional environment for knowledge sharing and skill development.
