Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaer, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, the Biomedical Engineering Technology Department organized an educational visit to the Iraqi National Museum in Baghdad on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Third-year students participated in the visit, accompanied by Lecturer Mohammed Samir Kazem, where they explored the museum’s exhibits showcasing Iraq’s rich history and the enduring legacy of Mesopotamian civilizations that have shaped human heritage.
The Iraqi National Museum, established in 1923, is one of the oldest and largest museums in the country. It houses an extensive collection of artifacts from ancient civilizations as well as Islamic-era relics, offering a profound insight into Iraq’s cultural and historical evolution.
