Symposium on Restricting Weapons to State Control
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaeir, Dean of Al-Rafidain University College, an educational symposium titled “Restricting Weapons to State Control” was held on Wednesday, November 4, 2024. The event was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Nazar Mustafa Al-Sarraf, along with a distinguished group of faculty members. Organized by the Public Relations Unit, represented by Dr. Rana Khudair, the symposium was conducted in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division for the 2024–2025 academic year.
Supervised by Ms. Nada Adnan Taher, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, and Ms. Basma Muhammad Khalil, Head of the Activities Unit in the scientific departments, the session featured an insightful lecture by Captain Salam Sadiq Maktof from the Ministry of Interior / Baghdad Rusafa Police Command.
The discussion emphasized the necessity of restricting arms to state control as a crucial measure for fostering security and societal stability.
