To achieve community outreach between Al Rafidain University College and various state institutions, The Department of Dentistry and in cooperation with the Baghdad Pink Salon, organized a workshop under the slogan (You are important… Your safety is important) for moral support and psychological rehabilitation for cancer patients.
The workshop spread the awareness of importance of early detection of breast cancer and the organization of awareness activities to avoid the disease and avoid its spread among women.
Hence, Rafidain College assumed the national, scientific and humanitarian responsibility to cooperate with civil society organizations to achieve a healthy and well society capable of continuous giving.
The workshop included words and a detailed explanation about this awareness project, explanatory films and testimonies from survivors of this disease.
