The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rafidain University College, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, organized a seminar titled “Using Electric Shock Devices for Cardiac Regulation and Resuscitation” on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Annex Building (1) – Banks Building.
Dr. Faras Abdulwadood Abdulaziz delivered the seminar, explaining the use of electric shock in cases of sudden cardiac arrest by directing a short, high-energy electrical current through the heart to restore its natural rhythm.
The seminar was attended by a number of college students.
