Oral and Dental Health Care Campaign Organized by Department of Dentistry
Under the patronage and support of the Dean of Al-Rafidain University College Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaeer and on the occasion of World Oral and Dental Health Day and in order to encourage our students to volunteer work and community services, a group of students from the Department of Dentistry organized an educational campaign for oral and dental health care for primary school students under the supervision of Dr. Maythaa Samir Kadhum and Dr. Basma Fathi Al-Anbari. One of the most important objectives of the campaign was the field application of community dental medicine course instructions about teeth care on school students through verbal explanation, displaying pictures, showing explanatory films and distributing educational brochures. At the end of the event gifts and prizes were given to the primary school students to make an unforgettable gesture that would make dental care a routine habit for them.
