As part of the annual curriculum for the second semester of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department/ Counseling Unit, the Accounting Department organized a seminar titled “Electronic Addiction: Causes and Treatment” on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the main building on Palestine Street.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Faisal Nafea Kaa’id, a lecturer in the department and the coordinator of the Counseling Unit. He explained the general meaning of addiction and its types, in addition to providing a detailed explanation of electronic addiction, the reasons why individuals fall into this type of addiction, and methods of overcoming and treating it.
The seminar was attended by several students from the department.
